All We Have

Intimacy Director: Alina Quarin

Presented by Vancouver Fringe Festival

It hasn’t been easy for Lily. For the past year, it has taken most of her energy just to make it through the day, considering things only as they come and unable to look forward. Then, one year after she left, Rose appears back in Lily’s life, dredging up painful memories Lily tried to bury when the love of her life vanished. Rose’s return confronts Lily with all the questions she left unanswered, including the biggest question of all: why did she leave in the first place?

What follows is an evening of tension, uncertainty, and hope, as two people who deeply loved one another contend with the painful realities that came between them, the devastation that followed when everything fell apart, and the pull to find what beauty may still lie between them.

The next day, Lily gathers with a few friends and family following an emotional event and considers what might come next. Any plans she had are further complicated when she learns unexpected information about those she holds closest.

By turns raw, heartfelt, and sincere, All We Have is an emotional look at the ties that bind us, what comes when they can’t be enough, and looking forward in the face of what is lost.
